Promotion of international exchange of opinions and experience

The purpose of the Hans Neuffer Foundation has traditionally been to promote the international exchange of opinions and experience between German physicians and their foreign counterparts and to increase awareness of clinical and operational facilities worldwide, particularly by organising and financing study tours and providing financial support to enable participation at international symposia.
Support for continuing medical education and speciality training

According to § 2 b of its byelaws, the Hans Neuffer Foundation also fulfills the function of promoting continuing medical education at home and abroad in all segments of the health sector, particularly the physician profession, by organising and financing continuing medical education congresses, lectures and relevant publications.
Promotion of health and socio-political research projects

According to § 2 c of its byelaws, the foundation aims to promote comparative research in preventative, curative and rehabilitative medicine, as well as scientific quality standards for healthcare services in EC and WHO member states, in particular by awarding research contracts to research institutes and financing reports about study tours.
